Personal Planning

Personal Planning
involves making decisions in writing so you have a written plan. You are far more likely to achieve your goals if you have a written plan. There is the old adage that failing to plan is planning to fail.
In addition to written plans, for both personal & business goals, whether financial or health etc, you also need legal forms properly completed to properly prepare for life's usual events such as accidents and illness. It is far cheaper and less stressful for your family & friends if you have planned for these events.
You need the correct legal forms to cover events in two different time periods - before death and after death. Most people know that you need the document called a Last Will & Testament ("Will") to list your wishes for after your death eg see my post about Guardianship for your children.
But a Will has no legal effect until you die so you need different documents for events before you die. So for all events and incidents before death, you need documents such as a Power of Attorney ("POA") for simple financial events and issues, and a Representation Agreement for long term or complicated health and financial issues, such as how to care for you if you are unable to make your own decisions for years due to illness or injury.
We can help you anywhere in British Columbia ("BC"). Covid taught all of us to communicate virtually using Zoom and similar services so we serve all of BC virtually as well as in-person throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
We have helped thousands of different people for more than 30 years of experience with their different legal issues so we can help you too.
